Nuestra primera ruta moderadamente desafiante comienza al norte de The Arroyo Park en Robinson Avenue; Bucle del Cañón de Palisades. Abierto todo el año, este sendero se extiende a un total de un circuito de 5 millas. Popular no solo para el senderismo, sino también para el ciclismo de montaña y la observación de aves. Si bien solo hay unos pocos puntos marcados para mantenerse en el camino, le recomendamos que mantenga su GPS encendido durante la caminata. Por último, tenemos Lost Dog Trail Loop ubicado en nuestro propio Franklin Mountain State Park. Con una longitud de sendero mucho más larga de 7,7 millas (12,39 km), este sendero es uno de los favoritos entre los habitantes de El Paso. Con la vida silvestre que rodea este sendero, puede esperar disfrutar de caminatas, carreras de senderos e incluso ciclismo de montaña. Los perros son bienvenidos y deben llevar correa durante el tiempo que dure en este sendero.
