Upper Valley Mercantile (UVM) will open its doors at 145 E. Sunset, Suite E400 on Saturday, August 7 at 10 am. They will feature local and handcrafted home decor, body care products for men and women, children’s apparel and toys, art, candles, greeting cards, premium rare plants, and so much more! The goal of UVM is to offer an additional platform for small businesses to showcase their products. Upper Valley Artist and Farmers Market is doing very well on Sundays and this will bridge the gap of supporting some of the vendors throughout the week.
Upper Valley Artist and Farmers Market has come a long way. This has been a dream of the team to have a brick and mortar for the past 2 years. The planning has been in the works for quite some time, waiting for the perfect opportunity. Upper Valley Mercantile (UVM) is proud of the brick and mortar products they will be presenting to the community. They are thankful for vendors like Mike & Cathy Morin who have given up their time to help make the dream come alive. Although UVM has a short-term lease until December 2021, the long-term goal is to be able to walk into the management office and say, “We are in for the long haul” come December. UVM is comfortable with their 800 sq. ft. of space, but maybe they will go bigger in the future? We shall see!
Upper Valley Artist and Farmers Market has helped over 1,000 small businesses in the 4 years it has been open. It has created jobs and put the importance of shopping local in the forefront. Upper Valley Mercantile (UVM) aspires to continue on the trend of creating jobs and helping small businesses thrive. This new platform is about to be birthed from a self-sustained market, and they are ready for the new venture. So come on out and see how Upper Valley Mercantile will bring the market to life on a daily basis!
